The Jabiru is a stork like bird that lives in large groups near rivers and ponds. It eats large quantities of fish, molluscs, and amphibians. Occasionally it will eat reptiles, bird eggs and small mammals. It is common in the Wet Tropics. Even though these are common in the Wet Tropics, I always enjoy watching them and their elegant way of moving.
