I enjoy the half-hour drive north of Mossman Gorge to the Daintree coast. The Daintree rainforest is the only place in the world where two world-heritage listed areas meet, the Daintree rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
 
I wanted to capture this unique blend of tropical rainforest, wetlands and mangrove forests. The reef is like an underwater botanical garden because of its marine plant and animal diversity and, like the rainforest, is full of intricate patterns that are constantly changing.
